Andrew Casci (1st Maw HQ), review information from subordinate units during Marine Expeditionary Force Exercise 2019 (MEFEX 19) at the Tactical Air Control Center (TACC) aboard Marine Corps Air Station Futenma, Okinawa, Japan, on May 2, 2019. MEFEX 19, a command and control exercise conducted in a simulated deployed environment, is designed to synchronize and bring to bear the full spectrum of III MEF, while remaining ready to provide the Marine Corps with an experienced staff capable of integrating with international allies and partner nations in a combined joint task force, charged with accomplishing a wide range of military operations.
